How to Obtain Access to Edit Extension Websites and Pages
Utah State University websites and pages are created and edited in a content management system called Omni CMS (formerly called OU Campus). Before being granted access to work with USU web pages, editors must first complete USU IT's Omni CMS training.
Next Step TrainingAfter completing the required Omni CMS training, new editors should learn some basic editing tasks by completing this online training.
Template OptionsAfter completing the next step training, web editors may wish to complete additional training and learn how to add design elements such as columns, alerts buttons, lists, tables, icons cards, and more.
Advanced Web Editor Training (HTML and Bootstrap 4)
For web editors who have become comfortable editing websites in the WYSIWYG editor, it may be beneficial to learn how to code in HTML and Bootstrap to take their web skills to the next level.
