Utah State University Extension, Create Better Health (Utah SNAP-Ed), and Utah Miracle of Agriculture foundation partnered to enhance food security and nutrition education for Utah communities. Through this collaboration, surplus fresh produce from local farms was distributed to families in need, promoting access to healthy, locally grown foods. The Create Better Health program complemented these efforts by offering nutrition education and hands-on cooking demonstrations, empowering participants to make nutritious meals using the provided produce. This partnership not only supported Utah farmers by reducing food waste but also strengthened community ties and improved health outcomes across the state.
