Miracle of Agriculture Foundation
The Utah State University Extension Create Better Health program partnered with the Utah Miracle of Agriculture foundation to enhance food security and nutrition education for Utah communities. Through this collaboration, surplus fresh produce from local farms was distributed to families in need, promoting access to healthy, locally grown foods. The Create Better Health program complemented these efforts by offering nutrition education and hands-on cooking demonstrations, empowering participants to make nutritious meals using the provided produce. This partnership not only supported Utah farmers by reducing food waste but also strengthened community ties and improved health outcomes across the state. Below is a collection of recipes and useful information for food provided through this initiative.
