Healthy Pizza Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 Bell peppers (any color)
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 lb Ground turkey
- 1 can Italian diced tomatoes
- Preferred pizza toppings (pepperoni, pineapple, ham, olives, veggies, etc)
- 3/4 C. Mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a skillet, saute onion, garlic, and turkey together on a skillet until turkey is cooked through.
- Add the can of tomatoes and pizza toppings (not the cheese) to the meat mixture.
- Wash your bell peppers. Cut them in half and take out the seeds.
- Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Or until the cheese is lightly browned.
