Digital Marketing
Digital marketing is the what and how of digital experiences which get people to act. Those experiences may start in-person (non-digital) or through a Google search, and eventually extend to anything/everything that has an internet connection that we can interact with. Primarily, we interact with through a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge...), but it can also mean how we position ourselves within popular apps (Facebook, YouTube, Maps, Email, etc..) and devices that we talk to as our digital assistants (Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant).
This means that digital marketing is huge, and it's integrated into everything we do - we all play a part in digital marketing. For that reason, some of the most useful resources to you in being part of this are listed below.
URL Builder
This builder adds tracking mechanisms so we can see what happens with our links in Google Analytics. One of the best ways to promote is through links (and literally, just about everything we do is promotion!). This tracking helps us make better data-informed decisions moving forward. Use this builder each time you create a link.
Promo Code Builder
We all love to feel like we're getting a deal - in fact, some people won't purchase until they have that feeling of "this is a bargain!" Create discount codes that are custom to your promotion channel, and are short-term (typically no longer than a month). This also helps create urgency.
