After the 15th of each month, review the budgets and indexes you are responsible for in FIN Monthly Review in Argos.
Complete your monthly review
Take a look and ask:
- Does this look right?
- Is anything surprising?
- If an index is in deficit, why—and what is the plan?
- Is something coming that we need to plan for?
- Is there anything Business Services needs to know or help with?
Add a comment when something needs context—especially if an index is in deficit. A couple of useful sentences are plenty. Then mark the budget as reviewed in Argos.

Quick tip
You do not have to explain every number or write a giant budget analysis. You know your program; we know the numbers. Tell us what the report cannot. The goal is to catch the “huh, that does not look right” items now—not in May or June when our options are much smaller.
