Can I Stay in an Airbnb or VRBO?
For non-4-H USU business travel, alternative lodging can be allowed, but you—not USU—enter into the rental agreement and assume the associated responsibility and liability.
Hotels are generally the safer, preferred option.
See USU Policy 1222 (Travel), under “Airbnb, VRBO or Other Alternative Lodging.”
Traveling With 4-H?
Different requirements apply. See the Utah 4-H Policies & Procedures.
Quick tip
Compare the total cost, not just the nightly rate. Cleaning and service fees can change the math.
