Family and Consumer Science

Utah 4-H Family and Consumer Science (FCS) programs introduce youth to real-life skills they can use every day, from caring for children and managing money to cooking, sewing, and designing beautiful space. Kids and teens can explore a variety of topics, which could include sewing and quilting, trying creative needle arts, learning to cook and preserve foods, and experimenting with interior design or financial decision-making. Through fun, hands-on projects and supportive mentors, youth gain confidence, creativity, responsibility, and leadership while discovering interests that can spark future careers.
