Career Readiness

4-H, the nation’s largest youth development organization, is proven to grow confident young people with the skills to thrive in life today and career tomorrow.   The 4-H project pathway provides the structure needed to develop youth who are prepared to enter college and the workforce.  Youth immerse themselves into experiential activities and engage in authentic experiences that provide the foundation of success regardless of the chosen area of focus.  Critical skills such as resiliency, determination, failure, and flexibility prepare youth in their future endeavors.

Practicing critical skills in simulated and authentic environments support youth in their overall development.  These county and/or state 4-H contests provide that setting for youth. For complete details on each of these contests please visit our Contest page.
