4-H Mentoring

Belonging. Independence. Generosity. Mastery.

Mentoring | Utah County 4-H

The 4-H Mentoring program in Utah County has garnered national recognition since its inception in 2001 and operates under Utah State University Extension. This program caters to youth aged 9-15 and their families. Within this program, young individuals are paired with young adult mentors who are dedicated to nurturing caring relationships with their mentee. These mentors serve as role models, guides, and friends, fostering a supportive environment for personal growth.

The program is offered free of charge to all youth participants, making it accessible to a wide range of young individuals and families.

4-H Mentoring is committed to providing an environment that fosters belonging, independence, generosity, and mastery among program participants. The four essential elements of positive youth development.
