4-H Mentoring

Belonging. Independence. Generosity. Mastery.

Mentoring | Utah County 4-H

Welcome to Utah 4-H Mentoring! Since 2001, our program, operated by Utah State University Extension in Utah County, has been positively shaping the lives of young people. Designed for youth aged 9-15 and their families, our program offers a unique opportunity where young individuals are matched with dedicated young adult mentors. These mentors are more than just role models; they are guides and friends who are committed to caring relationships that encourage personal growth.

We are proud to provide this transformative program completely free of charge, ensuring it is accessible to a diverse range of families and youth.

At Utah 4-H Mentoring, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that promotes the four essential elements of positive youth development: belonging, independence, generosity, and mastery. Join us in fostering a community where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
