Researchers at USU and USU Extension teamed up to better understand the prevalence of food insecurity among college students. Findings showed a need for increased awareness and greater attention for these issues faced by Aggies.
USU Students Provide Food to Aid Local Food Pantries
Each year the Food Preservation and Hunger Program, through USU Extension, receives fruit donated from Cache Community Gleaning. Volunteers then turn it into apple sauce and fruit leather and the preserved fruit is then donated to the USU SNAC pantry.
