Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups brown rice 
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1 tsp minced garlic 
  • 3 cups water  

Directions: 

Rice Cooker/Pressure Pot Instructions 

  • Add rice, 3 cups of water, minced garlic, salt, and tomatoes with juice to the pot. 
  • Cook on high for however long your machine’s rice pre-set is. 

Stovetop Instructions 

  • Add rice, 3 cups of water, minced garlic, salt, and tomatoes with juice to a large pot or saucepan.  
  • Bring ingredients to a rolling boil, and then simmer covered for 40-50 minutes on low heat, or till rice is tender. Stir occasionally.
