Mountain Bluebird Boxes

Mountain Bluebird

There are over 70 bird boxes constructed specifically for Mountain Bluebirds providing cavity nesting sites across the Preserve. These boxes have many specific features, from entrance hole size and box area to special features like predator guards and the ability to open for cleaning.  Other species such as Tree Swallows, House Wrens, and Black-capped Chickadees use these boxes.
