Conservation Projects

The land management of the Swaner Preserve spans seasons, projects, and many partners. From the arid upland sagebrush shrublands to the fen wetlands, conservation efforts are constantly occurring on the 1,200-acre Preserve. Located firmly on the wildland urban interface, the boundaries of the property are visible to the human eye- but impacts on the Preserve spread throughout the greater ecosystem and community.
