What is 4-H?

4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults. 4-H is the nation’s largest Positive Youth Development Program. 4-H focuses on learning by doing.

4-H offers a wide variety of programs, projects, contests and events from livestock and sewing, to leadership and robotics, there is a project for everyone in 4-H. Explore our site to learn more.

Bastian Hippologists

Details: If your dreams are filled with horses, you're in the right place! The Salt Lake County Horse Ambassadors are back with their exciting club for all horse-loving kids—whether you have a horse or just wish you did. This club is the perfect chance to dive into the equine world, learn new skills, and connect with others who share your passion! It is for all 4-H ages, grades 3-12 who want to learn more about horses. This month the ambassadors have planned an interactive station game where each station features a different horse related topic and hands on activity. It will also be our last horseless horse club meeting until the Fall.

Lil' Paws and Claws
Small Animal Club

Details: If you're curious about small and companion animals like dogs, cats, rabbits, and more—this is the club for you! Each month, we dive into a new topic and hands-on activity to help you learn more about the pets we love. From behavior and care to fun facts and creative projects, there’s always something new to explore. Come join us and discover the amazing world of companion animals—one paw, tail, or whisker at a time! This club is for all 4-H ages, grades 3-12 and if you are an existing 4-H member, add the club (Lil' Paws & Claws) on Z-Suite to your profile to receive more information. This month (weather permitting) our focus will be on dogs and preparing youth for the summer dog shows they can participate in.
