Discover personal growth through equine-assisted learning. This 6-week program uses guided interactions with horses to build confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connections in a supportive environment.

4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults. 4-H is the nation’s largest Positive Youth Development Program. 4-H focuses on learning by doing. In Davis County, 4-H offers a wide variety of programs, projects, contests, and events from livestock to sewing, and leadership to robotics.
Enrollment for the upcoming 4-H year (2026-2027) begins on September 01 but you can join anytime!

Whether you're a business, club, non-profit, family, or just a group of creative friends, this is your chance to show off your skills and design a scarecrow for thousands to enjoy at our free, outdoor, family-friendly event.

Fall fun is returning to the gardens! Take a fall stroll through the USU Botanical Center and discover creative scarecrows along the way.
The Scarecrow Walk is free and open to the public from dawn to dusk, September 26–October 4.
Opening Day Events & 5K Run - September 26th
Start opening day at 9 AM with the 3rd Annual Scarecrow 5K. Run, walk, or stroll a scenic course and don’t be afraid to get into the spirit—scarecrow costumes are encouraged!
After the 5K, stick around from 10 AM to 2 PM to help us kick off Scarecrow Walk with live music, food trucks, family activities, scarecrow voting, and more.
