Who We Are
Utah 4-H is the youth development program of Utah State University Extension, reaching young people in every county across the state. As part of the national 4-H network, Utah 4-H provides research-based programs that help youth gain the skills they need to succeed in school, careers, and life.
We partner with families, schools, and communities to create positive, hands-on learning experiences for youth ages 5–18.

What We Do in Utah 4-H
Utah 4-H offers hands-on learning experiences that help youth build real-world skills through meaningful projects and activities.
Hands-on experiences with livestock, farming, and agricultural science.
Explore robotics, coding, engineering, and science-based learning.
Build skills in nutrition, fitness, and emotional well-being.
Develop confidence through public speaking, service, and leadership opportunities.
Learn about Utah’s environment through camps, conservation, and outdoor education.

How Utah 4-H Works
Utah 4-H programs are delivered locally through county Extension offices, making it easy for families across Utah to participate.
Youth can get involved through:

Programs are led by trained volunteers and supported by Extension professionals from Utah State University.
