Mentoring | Utah County 4-H
4-H Mentoring of Utah County, is a nationally recognized program that began in 2001, and is operated through Utah State University. This program is designed for youth, ages 9-15, and their families. Youth are matched with young adult mentors, who work to establish caring relationships with identified youth. Mentors act as a role model, guide and friend. This program allows youth to develop their interpersonal and academic skills by participating in structured recreation, regular meetings with their mentor, and 4-H sponsored youth activities. This program is free to all youth participants.
We are committed to providing an environment which fosters belonging, independence, generosity and mastery among program participants. The four essential elements of positive youth development.
