The Horse Science Series

Utah County 4-H

Calling all horse enthusiasts! Whether you're a seasoned horseman or just getting started, The Horse Science Series is your ticket into the equine industry.

This innovative program is designed to target an underserved demographic of youth who may not have traditional access to horses due to financial or geographic restraints.
No horse, no problem! The Horse Science Series is a great place for youth to learn all about horses, gain hands-on experience, and develop friendships with other 4-H youth. This program runs September - December of each year and is for ages 5-18 years old.

This programming is also highly effective at increasing equine science knowledge for youth who are already involved in a 4-H horse related project, and acts as an all encompassing space for youth from both demographics to excel in their journey of horsemanship. The Horse Science Series is an excellent outlet for all horse enthusiasts and fosters an environment where youth can grow in their leadership skills and equine knowledge through practical, hands-on experiences that will help them become Beyond Ready.
