Horse Program

Sevier County 4-H has several active horse clubs. We put on horse shows, fund raisers, service projects, and clinics to help youth "learn by doing." Our program incorporates leadership, goal-setting, and personal development. Based on points earned through participation, youth can earn awesome prizes for all of their hard work and commitment. It isn't easy, but it's worth it!!!

To be eligible to participate in a 4-H Horse Project youth must:

  • enroll in 4-H
  • Be in at least 3rd grade AND 8 years old by the time they start of the 4-H year (Sept. 1, 2023) and can participate through September after their senior year in high school
  • Be a member of a chartered 4-H club (read more about chartering, pp 13-15)
