4-H Skills Workshops
Public Speaking & Demonstrations
These workshops will help to prepare 4-H members for the Public Speaking Contests and World of Work Contests. Youth will learn how to give several types of speeches (including impromptu and demonstration), learn how to act in an interview, and become familiar with skills required for a successful contest.
Sewing Camps
These workshops teach various sewing techniques through demonstration, practice, and project completion. Each workshop is unique!
Culinary Skills
These workshops will help to prepare 4-H members for the Favorite Foods Contest, Healthy Cuisine Contest, and Chef Extraordinaire Contest. Curriculum varies, but you'll learn new approaches to food preparation as you add culinary skills to your kitchen craft.
Fashion Night Out!
Join in a fun overnight retreat focused on fashion, make-up, and making new friends. Discover how to build your self esteem and explore what it takes to participate in county contests. And of course....dinner, movie, snacks, and breakfast are included.
