Lisa L. Stoner, M.S., is the Assistant Director of Outreach and Education for the Institute of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism. Lisa came to Utah State University in 2000 where she earned her M.S. in Range Science with an emphasis in remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems. She studied Ecology at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, and earned her B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. Lisa served as Outreach Coordinator for USU Study Abroad and Researcher in the Quinney College of Natural Resources. For IORT, her role is to coordinate projects, build partnerships, and direct outreach to communicate the science around recreation management and assess stakeholder input. Lisa enjoys back-packing with her family, is a birder, and perennial gardener.
