EFNEP
Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program
What is EFNEP?
The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) offers free classes to individuals with limited resources, empowering them to develop healthier eating habits and adopt nutritious diets. As a federally funded Extension program, EFNEP is implemented through Land-Grant Universities in every state, the District of Columbia, and six U.S. territories. In Utah, EFNEP is part of USU Extension, providing in-person and Zoom classes in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Utah counties. Residents in all other counties can participate in Zoom classes.
