The American Elm is a classic tree, however it is not recommended to plant elm trees unless it is a variety that has some resistance to Dutch Elm Disease. This variety has moderate resistance. This elm is known for its weeping habit. Its leaves turn golden in the fall.

Moderately susceptible to Dutch Elm Disease.
