This Scotch Pine is a tall and narrow pine. Like other Scotch Pines, its needles are twisted and are a blue-green color with a well-defined stomatal line. It can adapt to many environments and tolerates a variety of soil types.

Advantages

Can tolerate poor soils but needs good drainage, tolerates urban environments.

Disadvantages

Snow can damage the branches.
