This plant is known for its showy fall leaf color and seed pods. Both turn a bright, glowing red that is eye-catching. During the summer the leaves are dull green. In the summer flowers bloom, they are a greenish color, but not showy. This is a fast growing bush that is potentially invasive in some areas, but does well in Utah.
