Popcorn Doublefile Viburnum
Viburnum plicatoum var tomentosum 'Popcorn'
Planted 2011
The Popcorn Doublefile Viburnum is a fun variety in the spring. Its blooms are tightly clustered white balls, hence the name popcorn. Once summer comes the plant tends to struggle with the heat, resulting in some leaf necrosis. Mulch, some shade, regular watering are recommended to keep it healthy. Light pruning after the blooms are spent may also help it through the summer.
