Judd Viburnum
Viburnum x juddii

This variety of viburnum has loosely clustered flowers that are white and fragrant, bloom in the spring. It has dark green, flossy foliage that turns red in the fall. It has berries that ripen from burgundy red to black. Once this plant is established it it drought tolerant and adapts to many soils.

Leaf
Opposite, simple, ovate, and serrated. Glossy green in color and red in the fall.

Advantages
Adapts to many different soil types. Drought tolerant once established. Attracts birds and other pollinators.

Messy fruit, some pruning necessary.
