Ivory Silk Japanese Tree Lilac

Syringa reticulata 'Ivory Silk'

Planted 2008

'Ivory Silk' is a beautiful small tree or large shrub which typically grows 20-30' tall. It has an oval rounded crown and leaves that are dark green elliptic to ovate. In spring it is covered with dense clusters of creamy white single flowers which bloom later than most other species of lilac. Attractive reddish-brown peeling bark on younger branches gradually turns gray with age.
