Henry's Maple
Acer henryi
Planted 2010
This tree, native to China, is a relatively rare cultivation. It is a dioecious tree, meaning that the male and female flowers grow on seperate trees. The green leaves, clustered in groups of three, eventually give way to a deep red color in the fall. This is a hardy cultivar that is interesting year round for any landscape.
