This cedar has a shorter lifespan of 10-20 years, but has beautiful golden coloring. It has a graceful, pyramidal habit when young. It has whorls of needles with 15-20 per whorl. It does well in areas with sunny, dry soil that is well-drained.

Leaf
Needles, 1-1.5" long. Grow in whorls, 15-20 per whorl. Gold and yellow colored.

May experience top-die back, 10-20 year lifespan.
