European Beech

Fagus sylvatica

Planted 1980

This European native cultivar offers a beautiful backdrop in any season. Its low bearing branches give way to deep green leaves that turn gold in the fall. This tree is slow growing, but provides an excellent source of shade. It’s well suited to a big area that gets plenty of sun.
