This small cedar can reach about 6 feet tall when mature and has a beautiful light blue color. Its irregular pyramidal habit is accentuated by the weeping branches. Does not tolerate wet soils.

Leaf
Whorled needles with 15-20/ whorl, blue-green, 1” to 1 ½” needles.
Fruit
Monoecious, female cones look like little barrels, 4”x2 ½”, blue and bloomy when young, brown when mature.
Flower
Male cones, very dense, 2-3”, sheds pollen.
Advantages
Small unique shape.
Disadvantages
Not very cold hardy, cannot tolerate overly wet soils.
