The 'Coral Burst' crabapple is a compact, round, slow-growing tree. It takes about 10 years for this tree to reach its mature height and width. It has beautiful double light pink flowers. The fruit is very small and somewhat persistent on the tree.

Less fruit than other crabapples, ½” diameter, bronze/reddish orange.
Flower
Coral bud that opens to be rose pink, double.
Advantages
Adapts to many different soil types, requires little pruning, less fruit, highly resistant to diseases.
Disadvantages
Some fruit that falls on the ground, suckers, susceptible to scab.
