This plant is closely related to honeysuckle and weigela plants. It is loved for its blooms in April-May that are light pink with yellow throats. It has a vase-shaped habit with sweeping branches. Blooms grow on old wood, but it can become dense; to thin it out prune to the ground after blooming.
