This viburnum is a compact variety, growing to only about 5'x5'. It has a medium green foliage that turns deep red in the fall. Its berries are red and go untouched by birds. This variety prefers moist areas and does not handle the heat well. Handles some dry spells, but not drought.

Leaf
Opposite, simple, and 3 lobed. Medium to dark green in the summer and red in the fall.
Fruit
Moderate amount of red fruit, does not attract birds.
Flower
White, blooms mid to late May, 3-4" diameter. Flat topped cymes.
Advantages
Can adapt to different types of soil, handles mild drought.
Disadvantages
Prefers plenty of moisture, does not tolerate the heat well.
