Autumn Blaze Maple

Acer x freeman 'Jeffersred'

Planted 2011

This tree is a unique hybrid between a red and silver maple. It is said to have taken some of the best qualities from both trees including a strong structure, ability to adapt, and stunning red-orange fall color. It is not suitable to clay or heavy soils and can suffer from iron chlorosis in many intermountain soils. Autumn Blaze is low maintenance and makes for a good shade tree.
