Bristlecone Pine
Planted 1984
The Bristlecone Pine is a slow growing evergreen tree that requires little to no supplemental water and can grow in poor, rocky soils. It often has a contorted shape, which can add interest in the landscape. Needles growing in bundles of five are market by white resinous secretions and form densely around branches resembling long bristle brushes.
