Wings and Water Wetlands Education Program

The Wings and Water Wetlands Education Program is a hands-on, outdoor 4th-grade field trip where students get first-hand experience exploring the Great Salt Lake wetlands. Students learn about wetland habitat, soil, plants and animals, adaptations, the water cycle, and conservation.

Field trips are led by Naturalist Guides at the USU Botanical Center and The Nature Conservancy's Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve. Field trips run in September, October, April, and May on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Apply now.

If you are interested in volunteering as a Naturalist Guide for this program, please contact Olivia Shively at olivia.shively@usu.edu or (435) 919-1325.
