Health and Wellness empowers youth to live healthy lives by offering opportunities to explore, learn, practice & experience wellness in the following areas: Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional, & Spiritual Health; and Prevention Education.

General Health and Wellness Information
Physical Health & Wellness: encompasses strength, energy, flexibility, and endurance of the physical body. It is more than the absence of disease or injury.
Social Health & Wellness: a healthy connection to and feelings of support from others.
Emotional Health & Wellness: refers to our healthy management of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It also includes positive coping tools and resilience against stressors.
Mental Health & Wellness: includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
Spiritual Health & Wellness: the degree a person feels purpose, meaning, and peace with life as well as a connection to God or a higher power.
Family History Project Sheet
Prevention Education: Youth Mental Health First Aid, which is an 8-hour course that teaches adults how to help a youth who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. In the training, participants learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.
