FCS Skill-a-thon Practice Contest

This is an overall contest that covers skills and knowledge gained by participating in all aspects of the Family Consumer Science project.The first part is an identification of 3 areas: Clothing & Sewing, Foods & Cooking Interior Design & Home RepairsThen you judge a foods class similar to the consumer decision making contest and finally, as a team you give a life skill assessment presentation.This is a super fun contest and we hope you all participate in this practice contests.

 Best way to learn about a contest is learning by doing.Come participate in the consumer Decision Making Practice Contest.Youth will judge and rank 4 different consumer projects and give oral reasons why they choose ranked them based on the scenario given.This contest is for any project area.It is important to make wise consumer decisions.Adults are also welcome to sign up to learn about the project as well.
