Livestock tagging is a key part of the 4-H Jr. Livestock Program. The date your animal is tagged with a Utah Junior Livestock Association tag is the date of official ownership. All Market Animals must be tagged by the specified deadlines in order to participate in Utah Jr. Livestock Shows.

Cattle must be tagged 100 days prior to desired Jr. Livestock Show.
Sheep/Goats/Hogs must be tagged 60 days prior to desired Jr. Livestock Show.
Most Jr. Livestock Show require registration 30 days prior to show date.
