Fri, Dec 12: Open 10–11:45 AM and 1:15–4 PM
Fri, Dec 19: Open 10 AM–1 PM
Dec 24–Jan 1: Closed

About the Exhibition

Wetlands are like the supermarkets of the natural world. Become a critter of the Preserve and “shop” for everything you need to survive from the wetland supermarket! Dress up as wetland animals, use their shopping list to gather everything they need to survive the wetlands, check out at the register, and more.

This exhibition will be original and unique to Swaner and will open for the first time in late 2025. We will display it seasonally for years to come! We are working with Franklin Woodworking to bring this exhibit to life.

Play Testing

Back in April, our Visitor Experience team made a prototype of this exhibit to see what worked, gather ideas, and use that information to create the final exhibit.
