Gifts of Stock

There may be significant tax advantages from contributing appreciated securities transferred to the Swaner EcoCenter, as a charitable gift. The value of your gift depends upon the market price of these assets when they are given. You should always contact your financial adviser for professional advice regarding charitable contributions of securities.

Planned Gifts and Life Insurance

Leave a legacy or nurturing, education, and preserving by giving through bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance, and other planned giving vehicles. Gifts of Property

Swaner’s 1200-acres is a result of thoughtful donors setting aside land in the name of conservation. You can donate land, tangible personal property or real estate. Before considering a donation of this kind, consult a staff member about maintenance, ongoing costs, and insurance before making this donation.

Matching Gift

Through matching gift programs, many companies allow employees the opportunity to multiply the impact of their personal contributions.  If your company sponsors a matching gift program, you can easily increase the impact your gift will have on Swaner’s programs.  Most participating companies will match employee gifts dollar for dollar.  Some will even double- or triple-match a gift.
