Biography

Skyelar joined the Swaner team in May 2023. She started at Swaner as a Conservation and Outreach Intern and has transitioned into the role of an Outreach Naturalist. She attends the University of Utah, working to complete her Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and Sustainability, emphasizing land management and conservation. She is passionate about wildlife conservation and spent most of her childhood with her Grandpa in Flaming Gorge where her love for nature started. Outside of work, you can find her out fly fishing, baking, and spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Rocky.
