Miranda Margetts

Biography

Miranda grew up in Queensland, Australia, and has lived in the US since 2013, visiting Park City for the first time in 2014. She qualified as an Australian lawyer and worked with health care organizations down there before moving to the US where she obtained a doctoral degree in public and environmental health. In her positions with the University of Utah and Montana State University, Miranda contributes to women's health projects which involve partnerships with clinicians and scientists across the Mountain West. She previously served on the Board of the Community Memorial Health System in California. She lives with her husband Doug and daughter Elke in a neighborhood bordering Swaner, and they all enjoy taking advantage of the wonderful programs at the EcoCenter and viewing the wildlife on the Preserve year-round!
