Biography

Emma joined the Swaner team in July 2021. As Office Manager, she oversees EcoCenter maintenance, facility rentals, marketing, and various administrative duties. At work, you may find her meeting with contractors or crafting the latest newsletter. Her love for nature grew in the Manti-La Sal National Forest where she frequently explored with her family during weekend camping trips. This took her the Snow College where she pursued her Associate of Science in Communication. After, she transferred to the University of Utah to graduate with Bachelor’s Degrees in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and International Studies in May 2021. Outside the office you might find her cooking, crocheting, or out exploring the natural world alongside her partner and their Blue Heeler.
