Biography

Caroline is the coordinator for the Utah Master Naturalist program. When she’s not out leading field courses, you’ll find her researching and writing about Utah’s natural history and exploring outside with camera and binoculars at hand. Caroline received her BS in Outdoor Education/Natural History from Northland College and MS in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for nature with others. Born in Colorado and raised in North Dakota, she has lived in Utah for two decades and counting. Caroline enjoys skiing, mountain biking, paddling, and hiking. She is a dedicated home gardener, nature photographer, and bird watcher.
