Vendor Application Information
Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter's mission is to Preserve the land and the human connection to the natural landscape, educate the local and broader communities about the value of nature, and nurture both the ecosystem and the people connected with it.
This market aims to feature local artists whose work highlights the beauty of the natural world, fosters a deeper connection to nature, and/or inspires action to care for our environment. This community experience will encourage guests to shop local items that help us to preserve, educate, and nurture both people and our planet!
This market will feature 15 – 20 artists inside the Swaner EcoCenter on Thursday, December 12 from 6-9 PM. Each vendor will have approximately 4’x6’ for their booth.

Applying
We are looking to support local artists that are creating handmade work that highlights the beauty of the natural world, fosters a deeper connection to nature, and/or inspires action to care for our environment. This can range from 2D artwork, ceramics, fiber art, glass work, photography, wood working, jewelry, handmade accessories, hand-poured candles and so much more.

Complete the application form! (Very simple and it’s free!)
Important Dates
- October 28 – Applications Open
- November 8 – Applications Close
- November 14 - Artists are notified of their accepted, waitlisted or declined* application via email. (*please keep in mind we really don’t enjoy turning people away but we also may not have enough spots for the number of applicants that apply)
Your work
We request that you submit a link to your website or social media page with your application. We’ll use the imagery to help select a variety of work and mediums for the market so that your work will stand out! This is your time to SHINE! Please share the links that represent your work the best.
Fees
This market is meant to be a supportive market to advance Swaner’s mission and to help promote local artists aligned with that mission. There is no market fee but we do ask that vendors consider donating a small portion of your sales to Swaner’s mission (~5%).
Promotion
Swaner will promote this market through social media, local community calendars, radio, a press release, and through our monthly newsletter. We encourage you to give us a follow @SwanerPreserve. Each artist will be given a highlight on Instagram and on our website that includes images of your work and the artist bio you submit in your application. We will also create a landing page on our website with a link to your website or Instagram account so that customers can easily find your work again. The webpage for this market will be shared with you soon.
