About the Program
Swaner EcoClub is an environmental education and eco-service club for 6th-8th graders. Throughout the academic year, EcoClub members engage in a variety of environmental topics through hands-on activities, engaging with guest speakers, conservation projects, and more! Meetings are held twice a month on Friday from 3:30-5:30 pm. Past meeting activities have included:
- Helping with conservation projects on the Preserve
- Tracking wildlife behavior using camera traps
- Designing solutions to wildlife/human conflict
- Hiking and learning with local wildfire experts
- Taking field trips to other museums and nature centers
2024-2025 Club Fee: $200
EcoClub is limited to 15 members
